Happy Birthday to You

Are you like me - always needing a birthday card?  Why don't I just make a bunch and keep them on hand?  I know why; I work better under pressure.  But this card I had done well ahead of time.  It was for my older son's girlfriend.  It is so bright and cheerful.
I wanted to use some new In Colors but mostly the Sunny Garden designer series paper.  The base is Poppy Parade.  All the Designer Series Paper layers are matted with Pear Pizzazz.  The image is from the Cute by the Inch stamp set, a level 2 hostess set that you can get with a $300 workshop or order.  It was stamped with Poppy Parade, cut out and sponged around the edges with Poppy Parade.  The Circle Scissor Plus was used to cut out the larger Pear Pizzazz circle on which are layered a dsp scalloped circle and a dsp 1-1/4" circle and 1-3/8" Pear Pizzazz circle.  I used dimensionals to pop up a couple of the layers.  Added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the cupcake frosting using the 2-Way Glue Pen.  Three Brights Brads were added as well as the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  It was a simple card to make but had a lot of layers.  What do you think?

That's all for today.  Remember, the Summer Mini ends August 31.  But even better, the Holiday Mini starts September 1.  If you haven't gotten the Holiday Mini and would like a copy, let me know.

See you again soon.
