Shower Baby Buggy

My niece's baby shower is today but because she lives eight hours away, I am unable to make it.  To go along with the gifts, I made this card using the Mojo Monday #178 sketch challenge.

The card base is Whisper White card stock.  I added a piece of Ice Cream Parlor designer series paper to a piece of Old Olive card stock, attached a piece of Melon Mambo retired grosgrain ribbon, and adhered this layer to the card front.  I punched a circle from Peach Parfait cardstock, attached a punched scallop circle from the same designer paper and added it to the left side of the front of the card.  I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set on a piece of Whisper White card stock, matted it with Old Olive and attached it to the card with dimensionals.  The baby buggy was made by punching a large scallop circle from Pacific Point card stock and cutting it in half.  A strip of Daffodil Delight was punched using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.  It was cut to size to be the trim on both parts of the buggy and attached to the straight edges of both half scallop circles.  The two buggy pieces were then attached to take the shape of the buggy.  I punched two wheels from Daffodil Delight card stock with the 1/2" circle punch, added two Melon Mambo circles from the Ice Cream Parlor Quick Accents Pack, inserted a Daffodil Delight brad in each and attached to the buggy.  The handle of the buggy was made by punching a piece of Melon Mambo card stock with the 1/2" circle punch and then punching around that with the small oval punch.  I had to do a little trimming to get the effect I wanted.  This was attached to the back of the buggy.  The buggy was popped up on the front of the card with dimensionals.  Three buttons from the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon and Button Pack were added as well as a little bow made with the ribbon from the same pack.  I just love the colors on this paper and had fun tying them all together.  Now the blue buggy does not indicate she is having a boy.  They have opted to wait until the baby is born to know if they are having a he or a she.  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
