Flirtatious Doily

Today's card uses my current favorite, doilies.  I based it on two challenges:  CR84FN 38 Color Challenge and Paper Players Challenge #56 - Clean and Simple Sketch.

The card base is Pretty in Pink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bring On the Cake stamp set on a piece of Flirtatious designer paper and attached it to the card front.  The big Melon Mambo doily was cut from the Flirtatious designer paper, covered it with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using Iridescent Ice embossing
powder.  I attached it to a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and trimmed around it with paper snips.  I added a little bow of Pretty in Pink retired taffeta ribbon; I first made a loop and then added a yellow rhinestone brad.  This was added to the center of the big doily. This was matted with a piece of Pretty in Pink
card stock with rounded corners.   Using the Doily Triple Layer Punch, I punched out two of the doilies from Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight card stock and layered them.  I adhered them to the card front.  The big doily layer was attached with dimensionals.  These cheerful colors always make a great birthday card.  I hope you enjoy it.
