Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Today Mom Pumpkin and Junior Pumpkin visited the pumpkin patch and selected a pumpkin Junior could carve for Halloween.  The challenges that got the creative juices flowing  were the Less is More Week 33 - 1000 Challenge, the Monday Monster Mash Halloween Countdown Week #6 and the Stampin' Up! Only Challenge 28 Fall Colors.  At the Less is More Challenge site, they are trying to reach 1000 submissions.  If you're in the mood to create something clean and simple, download it to their site by Friday, 9/23, and help them reach their goal.

The card base is Naturals White card stock.  I stamped the small pumpkin from the Jack of All Trades stamp set on the card front with Pumpkin Pie ink.  I masked this pumpkin and stamped the taller pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie ink.  Using the stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the faces with Early Espresso ink and the stem and the curly-q with Old Olive ink, masking the smaller pumpkin again to stamp on the face of the larger pumpkin.  Momma's hat from the same stamp set was stamped on Naturals White card stock and heat embossed using VersaMark and Daffodil Delight inks.  I added rhinestones that I colored with a sharpie marker and attached it to the card with dimensionals.  The smallest pumpkin was made by punching out three ovals with the Small Oval punch, sponging their edges with Pumpkin Pie ink, and layering them.  I hand cut the stem and the curly-q from Old Olive card stock.  I wrapped the curly-q around a paper piercer so it would curl up and then attached both to the little pumpkin.  The sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set was stamped on the front using Early Espresso ink.  Voila!  Clean and simple.  Don't forget, if you'd like to be one of the 1000, go here for all the details.
