Christmas at the Lodge

Back again with another Christmas card.  It's an easy card to put together if you need a lot of one kind.  I challenged myself with the Inkspirations Challenge #99, the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #97 and Shirley's Christmas Blog Hop.

Crumb Cake card stock
was used as the base of this square card.  I punched a piece of Always Artichoke card stock with the Lace Ribbon Border punch and attached it to a square piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  The Chantilly Crochet Trim was gathered using a needle and Linen Thread.  This was attached over the border and to the back with glue dots.  A champagne brad from the Basics Glimmer Brads was added and the whole layer attached to the card front.  I heat embossed the
image from the Christmas Lodge stamp set on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock with VersaMark, Crumb Cake ink and clear embossing powder.  I used the Crumb Cake marker and Color Spritzer Tool over the image and then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  The image was matted with Always Artichoke card stock and attached to the Cherry Cobbler.  The 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds were used to highlight the areas of snow on the image.  A pretty simple card to put together with a little bit of old-fashioned look to it.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you had a chance to have some creative fun today.
