With Sympathy

I had to side step from Christmas cards today.  I, unfortunately, had to make a sympathy card.  The sketch I used is the Craft Project Central #6 challenge.

I chose Soft Suede card stock as my card base.  A piece of Spice Cake designer paper was spritzed using the Spritzer Tool and the Soft Suede marker and the edges sponged with Soft Suede ink.  It was added to a piece of Pool Party card stock that I had distressed the edges with using the distressing tool in the Cutter
Kit.  This was attached to the card front.  I punched a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, snipped off one end for the pennant look and sponged around the edges with Soft Suede ink.  It was matted with a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock that also was cut on one end.  I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set on a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock with black StazOn ink and used the 1" Square punch to cut the flag end.  It was also sponged with Soft Suede ink and matted with a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock, again using the square punch to cut into the one end.  They were added to the card front.  The two images from the Flower Fest stamp set were stamped on Watercolor paper with black StazOn ink.  The stem was colored with the Pear Pizzazz ink pad and a blender pen.  The edges were sponged with Soft Suede ink and the image spritzed the same as the designer paper.  The flower was colored using Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry ink pads and a blender pen.  I then cut it out and added a Pear Pizzazz Glimmer brad to the center.  The image layer was matted with Pool Party card stock that had also been distressed with the distressing tool.  This layer was attached to the card front with dimensionals.  The flower was added to the stem with a dimensional.  All that's left to do is put it in the mail with my regards.  Have a good day.
