Birthday Flower for Upline

Friday was my upline's birthday.  This is the card I created for her based on the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #54 and the Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #39 - Happy Birthday.  Details about the card follow.

Pear Pizzazz card stock was used for the base.  A piece of Twitterpated designer paper was spritzed with the Crumb Cake marker and Spritzer tool and sponged around the edges with the same color ink.  Two other strips of the same designer paper were matted with Pear Pizzazz card stock, sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake ink and attached to the card front.  A piece of Pear Pizzazz ribbon was added to the bottom of one strip.  The large Pear Pizzazz doily was cut out with the Big Shot and the Perfect Pennants die.  The edges were sponged with Crumb Cake ink.  I heat embossed the flower from the Creative Elements stamp set twice on Blushing Bride card stock with VersaMark, Blushing Bride ink and clear embossing powder.  I fussy cut both flowers - first the whole flower and then just some of the center area of the other flower.  I curled the edges with the bone folder and partially separated the layers.  The edges and embossed part of the flower were sponged with Crumb Cake ink for an aged look.  I attached the two flowers together and then to the doily.  The whole layer was popped up with dimensionals.  The sentiment from Create a Cupcake stamp set was stamped with Crumb Cake ink on the card.  A large pearl was added to the flower center as well as very small pearls in the scallops of the doily.  I hope she enjoyed the card.  How is your weekend going so far?  Try to find some time for creative fun.
