Shake My Heart

Today I have another Valentine card using some non-traditional colors.  This was submitted to three challenges:  Freshly Made Sketches #20, Stampin' Royalty Challenge #109 - Valentines Day, and Simply Stampin' Challenge #45 - Heartfelt.

For my card base I chose Pool Party card stock.  To get this longer and narrower card, I cut it 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" and folded it in half the long way.  A piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock was added to the bottom of the card.  Pool Party ribbon was added to the top of the Wisteria WonderLucky Limeade card stock was embossed with the hearts from the Adorning Accents embossing folders, matted with a piece of Whisper White card stock, slipped behind the ribbon and adhered to the card front.  The shaker heart was made by running a piece of Pool Party card stock through the Big Shot with one of the Hearts Framelits dies.  I then punched out the negative punch with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch (saved the die-cut heart for another project).  A piece of Sweet Shop designer paper and a piece of Window Sheet were both punched out with the same punch.  I trimmed around the edges of the Window Sheet to make it smaller to fit behind the Pool Party heart.  The largest Shaker Frame wasn't big enough for the scallop circle so I cut it and attached it to the designer paper scallop.  There was still a small opening so I cut another small piece from one of the smaller Shaker Frames and added it in.  Tiny white beads that I had on hand were added to the center.  The Window Sheet that I had trimmed was attached to the Shaker Frame.  Added to this was the scalloped die-cut heart.  The whole shaker element was added to the card with glue dots.  The sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set was stamped with StazOn ink.  Basic Pearls were added to the scallops and under the sentiment.  Ta da!!  A simple card with a little shaker whimsy.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope your day includes a little creative fun.
