This Makes Four

Here is my card for this week's Merry Monday Challenge #5.  So far I've managed to do all but the first challenge.  I'm having fun pulling out stamp sets that I usually see only at the end of the year.

The card base is Very Vanilla card stockBashful Blue card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder.  A piece of the retired Holly Berry Bouquet designer paper was matted with Real Red card stock.  The sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock, punched out with the Round Tab punch and matted with a piece of Real Red card stock punched out with the same punch.  After adding it to the back of the designer paper layer, the whole thing was attached to the card front.  Using StazOn ink, I stamped the image from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set on Watercolor paper that was cut out with the Circle Scissor Plus.  I water colored it with a blender pen and Real Red, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi, and Basic Black ink pads.  A So Saffron marker was used to color the star and a Real Red marker was used for the berries on the little tree.  The shadows beneath her feet and wagon were water colored with Sahara Sand ink.  I matted the image with a piece of Real Red card stock that was punched out with the 2-1/2" Circle punch.  Dimensionals were used to attach it to the card front.  Dazzling Diamonds were added to her coat and hat with a glue pen.  I'm enjoying making these Christmas cards each week.  I you'd like to join in the fun, stop over each Monday for the new sketch.  Have a wonderful weekend.  Try to find time for some creative fun.
