Merry Monday #10

Today I've got another Christmas card for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge #10.  Went with the "traditional" colors on this one.  I'm really enjoying working on these cards each week.  Not too sure how I'll be feeling in July but for now it's totally fun.

The card base is Naturals White card stock.  I added a layer of Garden Green card stock and then a layer of the retired Frostwood Lodge
designer paper.  The top corners of a piece of Naturals White card stock were punched with the Corner Punch and matted to a piece of Cherry  Cobbler card stock that had also been punched on the top corners.  This was attached to the card front.  To make the wreath, I cut a 1-1/4" circle out of a piece of Garden Green card stock.  I then centered that in the 1-3/4" Circle Punch, punched, and ended up with a green ring.  The leaves were punched out of Garden Green card stock using the leaf and branch from the Bird Builder Punch.  They were attached to the green ring with multipurpose glue.   Dimensionals were used to add the wreath to the card.  I made a double bow with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and added it with a glue dot.  Basic Pearls were colored with a permanent marker and added to the wreath.  The sentiment from the Many Merry Messages stamp set was heat embossed on Naturals White card stock with VersaMark and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder.  This was matted with both Frostwood Lodge designer paper and Garden Green card stock.  Three Garden Green brads were added under the sentiment and the whole thing popped up with dimensionals on the card.  I also added a small pearl colored with a permanent marker as a dot over the "i".  That's it for another Merry Monday challenge.  Stop by Lesley's blog and take the challenge.  May a wonderful weekend be waiting for you with some time for creative fun.
