You Make Me Smile

I really liked the colors in the Paper Players Challenge #86 because they have that soft look of spring.  With the warm days we've been having here this week, I really don't need too much inspiration to get motivated.  The sketch is from the Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge #246.  Read on for the details.

I chose Pool Party card stock for the card base.  A piece of Sweet Shop designer paper was matted with Crumb Cake card stock and attached to the card front.  I added a Pool Party brad to a
strip of Wisteria Wonder card stock and attached it to the card.  The image from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White card stock with VersaMark, Wisteria Wonder ink and clear embossing powder.  The corners were punched with the corner punch.  It was added to a piece of Crumb Cake card stock that I had rounded the corners.  It was popped up
on the card with dimensionals.  A piece of Pear Pizzazz pleated ribbon was added to the bottom with sticky strip.  I heat embossed the sentiment from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set on Whisper White card stock the same as the image.  It was punched out with a 1-1/4" Circle Punch, matted with a 1-3/8" Crumb Cake circle and added to the card.  The small flowers were punched out of Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz card stocks with the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and attached to the card with glue dots.  Pearls were added to the center of each.  My taste of spring card completed and, hopefully, ready to make someone smile.  Enjoy the rest of your day.  Be sure to take some fun time to create.

Great colours and great way to use this sketch. I love how you've used the SAB set and your addition of cardstock instead of ribbon really rocks! Thanks for sharing.
