Since it's almost the start of another week, I thought I'd share a card to help brighten it up a little. Two challenges were used to inspire this card: Freshly Made Sketches #33 and Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #54. I just couldn't resist all those cheerful colors in the inspiration challenge.
My card base is Daffodil Delight card stock. Two different pieces of Summer Smooches designer paper were matted with Lucky Limeade card stock. On the
Tangerine Tango layer I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pretty Postage stamp set with VersaMark and white embossing powder. Island Indigo Baker's Twine was used to tie a bow around this layer. Both designer paper layers were added to the card front. The flower was made from Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade and White Vellum card stocks using the Big Shot and the Daisies #2 Die. They were layered together with the glue pen. An Island Indigo
brad was added to the center. I curled the edges slightly with a bone folder. The flower was attached to the card with glue dots. Another clean looking card that went together fairly quickly. The Stampin' Celebration challenge is now a monthly challenge after being "off the air" for about a year. Join the fun - you have a whole month to create for the challenge. I hope you had a great weekend and were able to get in some fun creative time.
