Blinged Out Snowman

Today I have for you my weekly Christmas card based on the Merry Monday Challenge #23.  I found another Christmas card challenge that I used for inspiration - 52 (Christmas) Card Challenge #6.  There's no stamping on this card but a lot of punches were used.

The card base is Glossy White card stock.  I ran another piece of the Glossy White card stock through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder and then matted it with Bashful
Blue card stock.  I punched out three circles from Glossy White card stock to use for the snowman.  The edges were sponged with Bashful Blue inkDazzling Diamonds were added around each circle using the 2-Way Glue Pen.  Black brads were added for the eyes and down the front.  The circles were added to the card with glue dots.  I cut off a corner of a scrap piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock for his nose.  The top hat was made from retired
Bashful Blue textured card stock.  The brim was punched out with the Word Window Punch.  To make it smaller, I inserted it in the back of the punch and punched one end again.  The hat part is just a piece cut into a small rectangle.  The scarf was made with two small pieces of Bashful Blue card stock.  Both the hat and scarf pieces were sponged with Bashful Blue ink.  I "fringed" the scarf by cutting into one edge.  The snowflakes along the bottom and the top right corner were made by running a piece of Glossy White card stock through the Big Shot with the retired Northern Frost Sizzlits Die.  The edges were sponged with Bashful Blue ink.  I added Bashful Blue circles behind the bottom snowflakes.  All the snowflakes were popped up with dimensionals on the card.  Rhinestones were added to the center of each.  Well, there you have it - this week's Christmas card.  I hope you're enjoying your weekend.  Take some time to have some creative fun.
