Christmas #26

Good Saturday afternoon from a very warm NY state.  This is perfect weather to stay inside and make some cards.  Maybe checking out my weekly Christmas card will help you get in a cool frame of mind.  It is for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge #26.

Very Vanilla card stock was used as the base.  I then added a piece of the Be of Good Cheer designer paper.  On another piece of Very Vanilla card stock I randomly stamped the top of the evergreen tree and the small pine cone from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set using Gumball Green ink.  It was then run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, matted with Midnight Muse card stock and attached to the card.  The ornament from the Chock Full of Cheer stamp set was heat embossed on Very Vanilla card stock with VersaMark and Cherry Cobbler embossing powder and punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  The ornament top from the same stamp set was also heat embossed with VersaMark and Gold embossing powder.  I punched out a hole in the top with the crop-a-dile, hand cut it out and attached it to the ornament.  I tied a bow through the opening using Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.  Gold brads were added for a little extra punch.  Dimensionals were used to add it to the card.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.  It too was heat embossed with Gold embossing powder and matted with Midnight Muse card stock.  I made a triple bow from Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, threaded the tails through the sentiment layer with a large-eye needle and added a gold brad.  It was popped up on the card with dimensionals.  Thanks for visiting today.  Have a terrific weekend.  Stay cool and have some creative fun.
