Pink for a Girl

My card today can be used for a shower or new baby congratulations.  I used the Dynamic Duos Color Challenge #15 and the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sketch Challenge #79.

I used Pretty in Pink card stock for the base of the card.  Retired Flirtatious designer paper was sponged around the edges with Pretty in Pink ink and matted with Certainly Celery card stockPretty in Pink card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder.  The edges were sponged
with Pretty in Pink ink and then matted with Certainly Celery card stockCertainly Celery card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka dots embossing folder and the edges sponged with Certainly Celery ink.  This layer was also matted with Certainly Celery card stock.  All three layers were added to a piece of Whisper White card stockCertainly Celery ribbon and a bow were added to the layer and attached to the card front.  The image from the Embellished Events stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White card stock using VersaMark, Pretty in Pink and clear embossing powder.  It was punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and matted with a Certainly Celery circle cut out with the retired Circle Scissors Plus.  I attached it with dimensionals to a piece of Flirtatious designer paper cut out with the Big Shot and the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits die and the edges sponged with Pretty in Pink ink.  This was then added to the card.  Pearls were added for some extra pizzazz.  Thank you for stopping by.

If you haven't seen it yet, I am giving away some blog candy on this post to celebrate my 2nd year of blogging.  You can comment on any of my posts from Tuesday until Friday.

What a perfect Baby Girl card, Patti! The "doily" just sets off the entire card. Of course, you can never beat pearl wheels!
