I CASE'd this card from an old Paper Crafter's magazine. When I saw the Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #130. I thought the colors would be perfect for this card. It's also a square card which is what the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #65 called for. It's a simple card to make and great if you need a few cards in a hurry.
For the card base I chose Raspberry Ripple card stock. To get the image to form as close to a circle as I could get, I took a piece of Whisper White card stock and marked the center lightly with a pencil. I then took one of the pennants from the Pennant Parade stamp
set and using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the first pennant using Summer Starfruit ink with the point at the center of the card stock. I then stamped another pennant in the same color opposite the first one. I continued around in a circle in the same way using the Stamp-a-ma-jig and all the colors in the challenge - Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit inks. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped using Raspberry Ripple ink. All four corners were rounded and the layer added to the card front. A Raspberry Ripple Dahlia was added to the center with a glue dot. That's it - clean and simple, fast and easy. Hopefully it will brighten up the birthday of the recipient. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
