Pine Cones & Tree Bough

Today I have a clean simple card to share.  About a month ago I was playing with the Window Frames Dies and started this card.  It was put aside but I was cleaning up lots of loose paper and came across it.

The base is made with the largest die.  I folded the normal size piece of card stock (5-1/2" x 8-1/2").  When I was ready to cut it out with the Big Shot, I moved the top edge down on the die so it would not cut the card into two pieces.  I then cut out three more from Naturals Ivory card stock  (2) and Snow Festival designer paper (1), using the next three sizes of die and cutting each on a straight line like the base.  The larger of the white and the designer paper were attached to the card.  The images from the Watercolor Winter stamp set were both heat embossed.  The tree bough was embossed with VersaMark and Gumball Green embossing powder.  This stamp set is a two step stamp set so I stamped one pine cone directly on the image layer using Soft Suede ink and heat embossed it with the second layer pine cone using Early Espresso embossing powder.  This layer was added to the card.  The second pine cone was done the same way on a scrap piece of paper, cut out and attached to the image with a dimensional.  A 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds were added to give it a snow effect.  A piece of Silver Elastic Cord was wrapped around and tied in a bow to finish off the card.

Thanks for coming by.  I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
