Hello from the dreary, rainy Hudson Valley. Believe it or not, I wouldn't mind if it was snow - so much prettier. Today's card is for the Nacho Average Challenge #23.
For the card base I chose Baja Breeze card stock. I ran the right edge of just the front of the card through the Big Shot with one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies. I then paper pierced a piece of Brushed Silver card stock using the same scallop from the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack and attached it to the right inside of the card so it would highlight the cut edge of the front when the card is closed. A piece of retired Baja Breeze ribbon was attached to a strip of Brushed Silver card stock and added along the scalloped edge. The single pine tree from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set was heat embossed on Baja Breeze card stock using VersaMark and Silver embossing powder. It was attached to a piece of Brushed Silver card stock. Dazzling Diamonds were added to the branches using a glue pen. This layer was then attached to the card with dimensionals. Some Rhinestones were added for a little more sparkle. A very clean and simple card to make. Check out some of their sketches and join in the challenge. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
