Silent Night

Thanks for stopping by today.  My card today is inspired by three challenges:  Try Stampin' On Tuesday Sketch Challenge #96, Stampin' Royalty Challenge #154 - Christmas/Winter and Just Add Ink Challenge #148 - Just Add Christmas.

As you can see, I rotated the sketch because I had a particular stamp set in mind.  The card base is Old Olive card stock.  I embossed two pieces of Certainly Celery card stock using the Big Shot and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and added them to the top and bottom of the card.  In between, I added a piece of Naturals White card stock.  The tree from the Evergreen stamp set was stamped with Certainly Celery ink on a piece of Naturals White card stock.  Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the words to the song Silent Night from the same stamp
set over the tree with VersaMark and heat embossed it with Pewter embossing powderThe corners were punched out with the retired Ticket Corner Punch.  The image was then matted to Certainly Celery and Old Olive card stocks; the corners of these layers were punched out with the same punch.  Dimensionals were used to attach it to the card.  I colored a Pearl with a permanent marker and added it to the top of the tree.  A small bow was made with Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon and attached to the image.  And there you have it, another easy card to put together if time is running short for making your Christmas cards.  Have a fun weekend.
