Hearts To You

Happy Monday to all.  Here's hoping the weekend was relaxing and creative.  This is my first Valentine card for this year.  I was inspired by a few challenges on this one:  Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #100The Friday Mashup Challenge #92 and the LateNightStampers Challenge #206 - Use Hearts.  For the Mashup Challenge, I only did the patterns part.

TSOT #100
Whisper White card stock was used for the base.  I attached strips of Twitterpated designer paper and Riding Hood Red card stock to a larger piece of Twitterpated paper.  This was attached to a piece of retired Pear Pizzazz card stock.  Retired Blushing Bride ribbon was then added and this whole layer was attached to the card front.  Using the Hearts Collection dies and the Big Shot, I cut out three different sized hearts from Baja Breeze card stock.  I also cut out three different sized hearts - one from Whisper White card stock and two from
Twitterpated designer paper.  I cut the Baja Breeze hearts in half and used them to mat the other hearts.  I layered the three sets of hearts and attached them to the card with dimensionals.  I heat embossed the hearts image from the Mixed Medley (retired) stamp set on Riding Hood Red card stock using VersaMark and White embossing powder.  It was punched out with the 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch.  I also heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set using VersaMark, Baja Breeze ink and Clear embossing powder, punched it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch and attached it to the center of the image using dimensionals.  Dimensionals were also used to attach the whole thing to the card.  Some Pearls were added for a more romantic touch.  Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your day.

P.S. I'm having a shoebox swap in Millbrook on 3/16, if you are interested in coming. Some CNY ladies come, and we have loads of fun.
