Snow Serene

Some non-traditional colors were used for this week's Merry Monday Theme Challenge #46 - Birds.  I wanted to use this particular designer paper because it looks like little snowflakes, hence, the colors.  I also used the sketch from the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #102.

Very Vanilla card stock was used for the card base.  I embossed the front using the Big Shot and the Snow Burst embossing folder.  Attached to a piece of Festival of Prints designer paper is a strip of Lucky Limeade card stock cut with the Big Shot and the zig-zag edge from the Finishing Touches
diesThe sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set was stamped on a strip of Island Indigo card stock using Early Espresso ink.  It was matted with Very Vanilla card stockI cut one end of both for the pennant effect.  They were then attached to the card.  The image is from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set and was heat embossed on Whisper White card stock with VersaMark and Early Espresso embossing powder.  It was punched out with the Scallop Circle Punch and sponged around the edges with Island Indigo ink.  I matted it with a circle of Lucky Limeade card stock and used dimensionals to pop it up on the card.  Dazzling Details was added to the branches for a snow-like effect.  Some Rhinestones were added for a little extra glimmer.  This was another very clean and simple card to put together.  Enjoy your weekend and hope you find some time to be creative.
