Hearts to You

Good Monday afternoon.  My card today could be a Valentine or just used to show someone you care.  Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #238 was used for the colors and I am submitting it to the Just Add Ink Challenge #152 - Just Add Hearts.

My card base is Very Vanilla card stock.  I took a piece of the retired Festival of Prints designer paper and Lucky Limeade card stock, rounded the corners on one end of each and attached them to Island Indigo card stock.  A piece of Island Indigo ribbon was added over the seam.  Calypso Coral brads were added at the top and the layer adhered to the card front.  I heat embossed the scalloped heart from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set on Calypso Coral card stock using VersaMark, Calypso Coral ink and clear embossing powder.  I cut it out using the Big Shot and the Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies.  It was attached to the card with dimensionals.  I then heat embossed one of the smaller hearts from the same stamp set and the sentiment from the Fabulous Phrases stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock using VersaMark, Island Indigo ink and clear embossing powder.  It was then cut out with the Big Shot and the Hearts a Flutter dies and popped up on the card with dimensionals.  I made a small bow using Calypso Coral Baker's Twine and added it to the small heart with a glue dot.  If you're in need of some fast Valentine cards, this is a quick card to put together with lots of other color and designer paper options.  Enjoy the rest of your day.
