Happy weekend to all. My card today is inspired by the Merry Monday Challenge #50.
Very Vanilla card stock was used as the base of the card. A piece of Brushed Gold card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Holiday Frame embossing folder. The corners were rounded with the 3/16" Corner Punch. I rounded the corners on a strip of Red Glimmer paper, cut it in half and added one to each side of the embossed layer. This layer was then added to the card. I colored the stamp from the Easy Events stamp set with Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi markers and then stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. The leaves were colored in with the Wild Wasabi marker and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details was used on the berries. It was cut out using the Big Shot and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies. I cut out a piece of Red Glimmer paper using the same die. The cut out ornament was put aside but I used the leftover piece to cut out the frame for the image ornament. On the non-glimmer side you can see an imprint from the die so I cut around that to use as the frame. I tied a bow around the ornament with gold elastic cord and used Dimensionals to attach it to the card. The frame was then fitted over the ornament and attached using Glue Dots. Thanks for visiting. If you have any questions about the card, please leave a comment or drop me an e-mail. Have a great weekend.
