Birthday Wishes for a Winner

Today's card is for a friend who is celebrating his birthday today.  For inspiration I chose the Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #255 and the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge #244.

I didn't add all the layers behind the image because the layer was wide; I didn't want to have them take over the whole card front.  I started with a Marina Mist card stock base.  I matted a piece of Summer Smooches designer paper with Not Quite Navy card stock.  I then added a strip of the NQN card stock, a piece of Daffodil Delight ribbon and three silver brads.  It was attached to the designer paper layer
and the layer added to the card front.  I heat embossed the award ribbon stamp from the Blue Ribbon stamp set on Not Quite Navy card stock with VersaMark and clear embossing powder.  The scalloped part was punched out with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  Using the Big Shot and the Bitty Banners Framelits I cut out the smaller banner from the same designer paper and the larger banner from Not Quite Navy card stock.  I attached both to the tails left over from the punched out scallop and attached them to a piece of Marina Mist card stock that was matted with Not Quite Navy card stock.  The scalloped piece was popped up on the Marina Mist with dimensionals.  I heat embossed the birthday sentiment from the same stamp set on Whisper White card stock using VersaMark, Daffodil Delight ink and clear embossing powder, punched it out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch and attached it to the center of the scallop with dimensionals.  Two more Mini Silver brads were added and the layer added to the card with dimensionals.  Thanks for stopping by and checking out the birthday card.  Enjoy your evening.
