A "Beary" Happy Birthday

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for my great niece.  She just turned two but I'm a bit late with her card.  Hopefully she isn't old enough yet to realize what late is.  I chose the Paper Players Sketch Challenge #143 for the inspiration for the card.  I'm also adding it to this week's LateNightStampers Challenge #221 - Celebration.  What two year old doesn't think their birthday is a celebration!!

Daffodil Delight card stock was used as the card base.  The Big Shot and the sawtooth die from the Finishing Touches Edgelits were used to cut the edges of two strips of Pacific Point card stock.  The were attached to the back top and bottom edges of a piece of Sunshine & Sprinkles designer paper and then added to the card front.  The larger banner from the Bitty Banners Framelits was cut out of Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight card stocks using the Big Shot.  They were then attached to the designer paper strip.  The bear from the retired Button Bear stamp set was heat embossed on Basic Gray card stock using VersaMark and clear embossing powdercut out and added to the card using Glue Dots.  I then heat embossed the bow on Whisper White card stock using VersaMark and Melon Mambo embossing powder.  This too was fussy cut and attached to the bear with a Glue Dot.  The party hat was also heat embossed on Whisper White card stock using VersaMark, Pacific Point ink and clear embossing powder and cut out.  It was attached to the bear's head with a glue dot.  I stamped the gift on white card stock with Basic Gray ink, colored the bow and dots with Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo markers, cut it out and popped it up with a Dimensional.  Every little girl deserves some bling so I added some Dazzling Details to the hat and gift and a Rhinestone to the bow and hat.  The sentiment from the Bring On the Cake stamp set was then added using Basic Gray ink.  I love bright colors for children's cards and this fits the bill.  Thanks for stopping by.
