A Birthday Bloom

Good Tuesday afternoon to all.  Today is another birthday card; it's been a busy couple of months for birthdays here.  This is going out to my son's mother-in-law, a very lovely lady and first-time grandma like me.  As usual, I've used some challenges to inspire me:  Pals Paper Arts Challenge #158, Seize the Birthday Challenge #16 and CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #100.

I chose Summer Starfruit card stock for the base of my card (wasn't a favorite but it sure has grown on me).  The front of the card was run through the Big Shot with the Framed Tulips embossing folder.  The sentiment from the Bring On the Cake stamp set was heat embossed on
the bottom using VersaMark, Lucky Limeade ink and clear embossing powder.  The stem of leaves was cut out of Lucky Limeade card stock with the Big Shot and the Secret Garden Framelits.  I covered it in VersaMark and heat embossed it using Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  It was attached to the card with Glue DotsOne of the flowers from the Secret Garden stamp set was heat embossed twice, once on Very Vanilla card stock and once
on Pool Party card stock, using VersaMark and Pool Party embossing powder.  The Very Vanilla one was cut out using the Secret Garden FramelitsI fussy cut the center of the Pool Party flower and added it to the big flower with Glue Dots.  The flower was then added to the card.  I added a Rhinestone to the center and that completed the card.  I guess you can figure out which of the Tic-Tac-Toe lines I used but I'll give it to you anyway - the diagonal Punches or Dies, Bling, and Birthday.  Thanks for visiting today.  Check out the challenges if you're in need of inspiration or you just want to be inspired.  See you soon.
