Anniversary Love Story

Are there different occasion cards you don't normally create?  My card today is one of those - anniversary.  It is based on three challenges:  Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #70 - butterflies; ABC Challenge #23 - Weddings and Anniversaries; Techno Stamper Sketch Challenge #263.

For the card base, I chose Blushing Bride card stock.  The first layer is a piece of Twitterpated designer paper.  I then added a Pear Pizzazz flagged strip that was matted with a flagged strip of Blushing Bride and added that to the card.  The sentiment from the One in a Million stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White card stock using VersaMark, Basic Gray ink and Clear embossing powder.  I then stamped one of the images from the Mixed Medley stamp set in Blushing Bride ink.  This layer was matted with Blushing Bride card stock and added to the card.  Another piece of the designer paper was flagged and matted with Pear Pizzazz card stock and attached to the card.  The butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set were heat embossed on Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz card stocks using VersaMark, Basic Gray ink, and Clear embossing powder.  I punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly punch and attached them to the card with Glue Dots.  I gently bent the wings and added Pearls to one butterfly and along the side of the other.  Now that I have it done, it will be going out in the mail in the next couple of days; looks like I'll have to make another one to have on hand.  Thanks for visiting.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Come to think of it I don't make many anniversary cards either--unless someone request them. I love this one. That saying is perfect and I adore the butterflies! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
