Blooming Birthday

I went looking for a birthday card and realized I didn't have any stashed so I created one using four (yes, four) challenges:  CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #101 - stamp on designer paper; Sunday Stamps Challenge #49; Seize the Birthday #17; Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #71 - Favorite Retiring Stamp Set.

Daffodil Delight card stock was used for the card base.  I added a strip of Lucky Limeade card stock that was run through the Big Shot using
one of the Delicate Designs embossing folders.  The image from the Just Believe stamp set was heat embossed on Floral District designer paper using VersaMark, Rich Razzleberry ink and Clear embossing powder.  I then heat embossed the
sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set using VersaMark, Lucky LImeade ink and Clear embossing powder along the edge of the image.  This layer was matted with Rich Razzleberry card stock and attached to the card with Dimensionals.  Two flowers from the Flower Trim were colored by dipping them in Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade ink refills mixed with water.  After they dried (doesn't take long at all), I added them to the card using Glue DotsPearls were added to the center as well as to the flowers on the image.  So now I have one card in my birthday stash but I will be working on replenishing this stash.  So happy you came by.  Have a great day.

Great card - love the color combo you used and the flowers and texture strip add a nice touch. You used the same two stamp sets I did for my card. I will miss them both! Thanks for sharing your card with SUO Challenges.
