Welcome Baby

Do you have a stamp set(s) that you know you will always hang on to?  This is one of my favorites - great for baby or kids' cards.  I needed a baby card for friends who just celebrated the birth of their first grandchild so I used the Fab Friday Challenge #21 for my inspiration.

I chose Naturals White card stock for the base.  A piece of Nursery Nest designer paper was put through the Big Shot with one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies.  I also ran a piece of Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride card stock through using the same die.  I layered these two, trimmed them on the sides and attached them to the back of the designer paper.  Three Pear Pizzazz brads were added and the whole layer attached to the card.  The image from the retired Two by Two stamp set was stamped on Watercolor paper with StazOn ink.  It was colored with Blender Pens and Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, and More Mustard ink pads.  The corners were rounded and then attached to the designer paper.  The sentiment from the One in a Million stamp set was heat embossed on Blushing Bride card stock using VersaMark, Blushing Bride ink and Clear embossing powder.  The Decorative Label punch was used to punch it out (I reinserted it in the back of the punch and punched again to get a smaller size).  The edges were sponged with Blushing Bride ink and the sentiment added to the card with Dimensionals.  I made the arrow following Jackie Topa's tutorial here.  I sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz ink, added a Blushing Bride brad and attached it using Dimensionals.  Hope you have a great day; take some time to be creative.
