Birthday Flowers

Happy Friday everyone.  Here's hoping you have a wonderful weekend coming up.  We have been enjoying some beautiful weather here; it's like Fall has arrived but I don't believe that it will last.  My card today is based on three challenges:  Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge #275, Stampin' Royalty Challenge #189 and Stampin' Up! Only Challenge #77 - Birthday.

As you can see, this sketch is quite clean and simple.  That seems to be where I've been lately.  The card base is Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Express Yourself stamp set on a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock using Baked Brown Sugar ink and ran it through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb
embossing folder making sure the sentiment was on the debossed side (makes it easier to read).  This was added to the card.  I stamped the flower from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set three times on a piece of Whisper White card stock using Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride and Calyso Coral inks, in that order, overlapping the flowers.  This was matted with a piece of Calypso Coral card stock.  I added Daffodil Delight Candy Dots to the centers of all three flowers.  Very easy card to duplicate and the image and sentiment can easily be changed.  Enjoy your day and be sure to come again.

DON'T FORGET!!  Check out this post here if you'd like to win some blog candy.

Love how you incorporated those bright colors together (I always struggle with yellows and pinks :-)) The flowers look fantastic and the honeycomb folder is a perfect match! Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges!

Nice!! This stamp always scares me with its undefined edges - but you nailed it!!
