Today's card is based on the Merry Monday Challenge #70. They aren't your conventional colors but they make for a pretty combination.
Whisper White was used as the base of the card. I ran two pieces of Smoky Slate card stock through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder and attached them to a mat of Bermuda Bay card stock. The sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set was heat embossed on a piece of Winter Frost designer paper (great designs & colors) using VersaMark, Bermuda Bay ink, and clear embossing powder. This, too, was matted with Bermuda Bay and added to the embossed layer. White Organza Ribbon was attached. I then made a bow with Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon and left the tails long to attach around the card over the organza ribbon. The whole layer was attached to the card front. The ornament from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set was heat embossed the same as the sentiment, cut out with the Big Shot and a Holiday Ornaments Framelit, and attached to the card with Dimensionals. Pearls were added to the ornament to give it a more holiday-ish look. Visit the Merry Monday Challenge to participate and get a jump on your holiday cards.
Don't forget. I'm giving away blog candy to celebrate three years of blogging. Leave a comment on my post of August 14 here to get in on the chance to win.
