Daughter-in-Love Birthday Wishes

My sweet daughter-in-love celebrated her birthday yesterday.  This is the card I made for her using the Circle Card Thinlits Die.

I started with a piece of Pool Party card stock cut at 5-7/16" by 11".  The measurement was smaller than the normal 5-1/2" so I could slide the card stock under the side with the circle and leave the other end on the top so it wouldn't get  cut.  This gives you a longer card and more area to write on or decorate but will still be an A2 size card when folded.  Before running it through the Big Shot I attached a piece of retired Sycamore Street designer paper to the circle end with removable adhesive to get the partial cut out of the circle.  I then folded on the score lines.  I trimmed off just a little from the three straight edges of the designer paper
and attached it to the card.  The image from the Mixed Bunch stamp set was inked first in Rich Razzzleberry ink, the edges then rolled in Island Indigo ink and stamped on Whisper White card stock.  I covered it all with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed it using Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  (Hope you can see it a little better in photo at left).  It was then punched out with the Blossom Punch, attached to a Summer Starfruit card stock circle and added to the card with Dimensionals.  The sentiment from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White card stock with VersaMark, Rich Razzleberry ink and Clear embossing powder.  It was cut out with the scallop circle die that comes with the Circle Card die, attached to Summer Starfruit card stock and attached on the back of the circle with the image.  I tied Summer Starfruit ribbon around the folded right side of the Pool Party card stock before adding another piece of the designer paper on the inside.  The rest of the sentiment from the same stamp set was also heat embossed in the same way.  This was cut out from another one of the dies from the Circle Card die.  A piece of Summer Starfruit card stock was also cut with this die, cut in half and used to mat the sentiment before attaching it to the card.  The finishing touch was a Summer Starfruit Dahlia that was added to the center of the image.  Hopefully my explanation on how I put the card together was helpful.  Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have about this card.  The weekend is upon us.  Enjoy and be creative.
