Good Saturday evening. I have a Christmas card based on the Merry Monday Challenge #83 (stripes, red, chocolate and stars or hearts) and the CAS Sketch Challenge #51.
I used Whisper White card stock for the base. The star from the Merry Minis stamp set was stamped on Cherry Cobbler card stock with Whisper White Craft ink. After letting it dry, I ran the piece of card stock through the Big Shot with the Stripes embossing folder. A piece of Season of Style designer paper was then matted with Chocolate Chip card stock and attached to the Cherry Cobbler layer. I stamped the sentiment
from the Christmas Messages stamp set on a piece of Whisper White card stock with Chocolate Chip ink. I flagged the end with Paper Snips. This was then matted with Chocolate Chip card stock and the end flagged. Three retired Cherry Cobbler brads were added at the top. I attached the embossed layer to the card front. The sentiment was then attached using Dimensionals. As you can see, this is a very simple card to put together if you're looking for some quick cards to make for Christmas. I'm glad you stopped by for a visit. Hopefully, I'll be posting a little more frequently than I have been lately. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
