Time for a Guy Card

Wow, this week is sure going fast.  Today I have a masculine card based on the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #160.  I didn't add a sentiment because I'm not sure who it will go to or for what occasion.

The base is Naturals Ivory card stock.  I seem to be using the naturals card stocks a lot lately.  A piece of Epic Day This and That designer paper was distressed around the edges, sponged with Crumb Cake ink and added to the card.  Crumb Cake card stock was distressed, sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake ink and matted with Calypso Coral card stock.  I stamped one of the images from the Clockworks stamp set on Naturals Ivory card stock using Pool Party ink.  I stamped it off once before stamping on the ivory.  The watch from the same stamp set was then heat embossed using VersaMark and Pewter embossing powder.  I distressed the edges and sponged with Crumb Cake ink.  This was matted with a piece of Calypso Coral card stock.  The watch layer was added to the Crumb Cake layer.  Hemp twine was looped around the bottom three times, tied in a knot and the layer added to the card.  The watch face was stamped on a piece of scrap paper using Basic Black ink.  The hands were then heat embossed the same as the watch base.  The Stamp-a-ma-jig was used to get the hands placed in the right spot on the watch face.  I then punched this out, sponged around the edge and inserted a Pool Party Candy Dot and Candy Dots Brad Base to the center.  Dimensionals were used to pop it up on the card.  This sketch has a lot of possibilities.  Why not challenge yourself today.  Have a good one.
