You're Lovely

Happy Friday.  I know a lot of you are looking forward to the weekend so enjoy the anticipation of it today.  My card today is a combination of three challenges:  Paper Players Challenge #187; Sunday Stamps Challenge #71; The Challenge #2.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new growth that comes with spring, especially flowers.  I started my card with a Very Vanilla card stock base.  To that I added a layer of Wild Wasabi embossed with the Argyle embossing folder and the Big Shot.  A piece of Baked Brown Sugar card stock was stamped twice with the row of "flowers" from the You're Lovely stamp set using Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I
paper pierced along the top and bottom edge using the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack (hard to see in photo).  This layer was matted with Very Vanilla card stock.  The sentiment image from the same stamp set was stamped twice on Very Vanilla card stock, once with Wisteria Wonder ink and once with Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I colored the flowers and leaves on the Baked Brown Sugar one using Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi ink pads and a Blender Pen.  I then cut out the
circle part with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  Using Dimensionals, it was attached to the Wisteria Wonder stamped image that had been cut out using one of the Deco Labels dies and the Big Shot Magnetic Platform.  This was then added to the card.  The finishing touches were Pearls added to the center of the flower rows and a couple on the image layer.  This card can be used as a birthday, mother's day, get well or for whenever you need a card for someone lovely in your life.  I hope you're weekend will be warmer and more spring like than it's been and you get a chance to be a little "crafty".  Come visit again.
