A Spring Happy Birthday

Today's card is a cheerful, springy birthday wish.  For my inspiration I used the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #163 and the CAS on Sunday Challenge #31 - birthday using dies.

As you can see, I turned the sketch 90 degrees to the right to accommodate the direction of the sentiment.  Whisper White card stock was used for the base.  I matted pieces of Gingham Garden designer paper with Daffodil Delight card stock and attached them to the card.  The sentiment from the Simply Sketched stamp set was heat embossed on Whisper White using VersaMark and Melon Mambo embossing powder.  It was cut out using one of the Ovals Framelits.  I cut a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock with the next size framelit and used it to mat the sentiment.  Dimensionals were used to attach it to the card.  The flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set were stamped using Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Island Indigo inks and punched out with the Petite Petals Punch.  They were attached using Glue Dots.  A Rhinestone was added as the finishing touch to the center of each flower.  This sketch is so versatile and has so many possibilities.  Enjoy your Tuesday; I'll see you again.
