More Birthday Wishes

The weekend is here and I hope you've got wonderful things planned.  Today I have a truly girly girl birthday card - all pink and purple.  The layout is based on The Challenge #5 sketch.  Since it's a birthday card, I'm adding it to the Seize the Birthday - anything goes gallery.

Wisteria Wonder card stock was used for the base.  A piece of Pink Pirouette card stock was run through the Big Shot with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I matted a piece of retired Fan Fair designer paper with Elegant Eggplant card stock and added it to the embossed layer.  Wisteria Wonder ribbon was added.  I then added a piece of 1/8" Very Vanilla ribbon along the center of the Wisteria Wonder.  The layer was attached to the card.   I punched out two scalloped circles from Very Vanilla card stock, softened the fibers with a bone folder and peeled the layers apart (there are now four circles).  They were sponged around the
edges as well as random sponging on the circles with Pink Pirouette ink.  I scrunched them tightly, opened them back up and added a Wisteria Wonder brad to the center.  The flower was added, using Glue Dots, to a piece of Wisteria Wonder that was matted with Elegant Eggplant.  This was added to the card with Dimensionals.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set and was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock with Elegant Eggplant ink.  I punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and matted it with Elegant Eggplant punched out with the Scallop Oval PunchDimensionals were used to attach it to the card.  Definitely a feminine card.  See you soon.
