A Touch of Gold

Creating Pretty Cards Challenge #40 was used as the basis for this birthday card.

Card Base:  Garden Green card stock
Designer Paper Layer:  Wrapped Pistachio Pudding Baker's Twine twice around piece of Gold Soiree designer paper.  Made a double bow from the baker's twine and attached with a Glue Dot.  Strip of Gold Foil sheet was added on each side.  Retired Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon then added and layer attached to the card.
Image:  Stamped image from Bloom with Hope stamp set on Whisper White card stock using Black StazOn ink.  Colored it using Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and Garden Green inks and an Aqua Painter.  Punched out with Scallop Circle Punch and matted with a Garden Green circle.  Gold Glitz Dazzling Details was used on the center of the flowers and in each scallop.  Popped up on card with Dimensionals.
Sentiment:  Heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set using VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder.  Punched out with Modern Label Punch.  Using same punch, punched one each out of Gold Foil, Crisp Cantaloupe and Garden Green card stocks.  Cut off ends to use to mat sentiment.  Attached sentiment with a Dimensional and Glue Dots.

This will going in the mail today.  Again, I'm late mailing a card.  I hope you've been having better weather than we are.  It's been raining and windy here for three days so far.  Lost power last night but thankfully it was on by morning.  A little sunshine would be nice though.  I guess it's better than snow, right?
