Starry Christmas

I had a class on Saturday and this was one of the cards we made.  I used the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #160 as my inspiration.  The basic sketch was used but I changed up a couple of things.

Card Base:  Lost Lagoon card stock to which I added a layer of All is Calm designer paper.  A piece of Soft Sky card stock was embossed with the Lucky Stars embossing folder and added to the card along with a piece of Lost Lagoon.  Two pieces of Silver ribbon were added to the Lost Lagoon as well as a bow made from the same ribbon.
Stars:  Cut a star out of Silver Foil using the Stars Framelits.  Heat embossed a star from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set  on Whisper White card stock with VersaMark and Silver embossing powder.  It was then cut out using the second smallest Stars framelit.  The smallest star from the framelits was used to cut out a piece of Lost Lagoon.  Added a retired glimmer brad and attached the stars with Dimensionals.
Easy peasy card and the ladies really liked it.
Sure hope you had a great weekend.  Pretty windy around here all day.  I guess it's that time of year.  Did you remember to turn your clocks back last night?
