Butterfly Get Well

Happy Friday.  For today's get well card, I got my inspiration from the Global Design Project Challenge #39 and the Sunday Stamps Challenge #128.

Card Base & Layers:  Card base is textured Island Indigo card stock (retired) cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2".  Designer paper layer is retired Bohemian dsp.  I then added a layer of Delightful Dijon card stock embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder and sponged around the edges with Delightful Dijon ink.

Butterfly:  I used the three largest images of the two-step Watercolor Wings stamp set for the butterfly on Very Vanilla card stock.  I stamped off the Island Indigo with the first stamp and then layered the next two using Rich Razzleberry and Delightful Dijon inks.  After adding the center of the butterfly, I used the Bold Butterfly framelits and the Big Shot to cut them out.  Clear Wink of Stella pen was used to add a little shimmer.  Glue Dots were used to attach it to the card.

Sentiment:  The sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set was stamped with Island Indigo ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  The new Duet Banner punch was used to punch it out.  Some retired Island Indigo candy dots were added.  Dimensionals were used to add it to the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  May you enjoy a wonderful, safe weekend.

Saw your card in the gallery at Sunday Stamps and came to take a closer look--your butterfly is gorgeous. What a unique combination of colors. Fits so well with the papers you've used and it really pops! TFS.
