I have not done much blogging since June of last year. I was having some medical issues and after a valve replacement in April, I am feeling so much better. Praise God!
My 3-1/2" year old granddaughter had her first dance recital last weekend and we weren't able to attend. This is the card I created to let her know we are so proud of how well she did. I used three challenges in making this card: CAS on Sunday Challenge #84 - sparkle; Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #274; AAA Cards Challenge #66 - watercolor.
Card Base/Layers: Cucumber Crush card stock cut 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2". Stamped sentiment from retired Sweet Stuff stamp set with Basic Black ink. Embossed right edge with Lucky Stars EF. Added three strips of retired washi tape to Very Vanilla card stock and added layer to card.
Finishing Touch: Colored four Rhinestones with a sharpie marker and added them to the dress.
Inside: Stamped another image from the same stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock, watercolored it like the front image.
It feels good to be able to be creating cards again and posting them to my blog. I hope you are enjoying some nice weather. It's been a little too hot for me but we're cooling off. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
