Starfish Happy Birthday

I needed a birthday card, like yesterday, so I opted for a clean and simple one.  I found the Inkspirational Challenge #115 interesting:  use DSP and, as an option, stamp on DSP.  I am also submitting it to Seize the Birthday - anything goes.

Card Base:  Soft Sky cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; score at 4-1/4".  Added a small piece of the By the Shore dsp rounding three of the corners.

Image Layer:  Stamped the 2-step starfish from the Picture Perfect stamp set on another piece of the By the Shore dsp with Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral inks.  The sentiment from the Best Birds stamp set was stamped with Basic Black Archival ink.  The Layering Squares Framelits were used to cut the
image and the Calypso Coral mat.  I added two loops of retired Very Vanilla satin ribbon to the back of the image using Glue DotsDimensionals were used to pop up the layer.

Finishing Touch:  Clear Wink of Stella was added to give the starfish a little shimmer,

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great day.  Check back on Saturday for a chance to win some blog candy.
