Christmas 2

Good evening.  This is the second Christmas card so far this year.  It is based on two challenges:  The Challenge #76 and Christmas Card Challenge #39.

Card Base:  Cherry Cobbler card stock cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; score at 4-1/4".

First Layer & Sentiment:  Heat embossed the sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set on Very Vanilla card stock using Versamark and Gold embossing powder and attached layer to card.
Image Layer:  Heat embossed two of the bells from the Seasonal Bells stamp set on a piece of This Christmas DSP using Versamark and Gold embossing powder.  I punched them out with the Bell Punch.  I then punched two more bells from Basic Black card stock, cut them in half and used them to mat each bell.  To another piece of This Christmas dsp I added a strip of the music dsp and a piece of Gold Foil and added this layer to the card.  I was going to add a bow to the bells but instead used a paper piercer at the top of each bell and added a retired gold brad.

The Finishing Touch:  Metallic Gold Thread was then attached in loops to the back of the bells using Glue Dots.  The bells were attached with Dimensionals.

I appreciate you taking a peek at my blog.  Stop by again.
