Happy 6th Anniversary

Today's card is in celebration of my son and daughter-in-love's 6th wedding anniversary.  My inspiration came from the CAS on Sunday Challenge #109 - Repitition.

Card Base:  Island Indigo cardstock cut 4-1/4"x11" and scored at 5-1/2".  Very Vanilla cardstock layer measures 4"x5-1/4".

Image/Sentiment Layer:  Sentiment from the Best Birds stamp set was heat embossed with VersaMark and Copper embossing powder on Mint Macaron (2-3/4"x3-1/2").  The weave image from the Best Birds stamp set was stamped with Mint Macaron ink above the sentiment.  Leaves and flowers from the Flourish Thinlits were cut out of Copper Foil and added over the stamped weave.  Matted this layer with Island Indigo cardstock (2-7/8"x3-5/8").  Copper Metallic Thread was wrapped around three times and fastened on the back.  Attached layer to card front with Dimensionals.

The Finishing Touches:  Added a Regals Enamel Shape to the center of
the middle flower.  On the inside I added a layer of Very Vanilla (4"x5-1/4").  Stamped the leaves image from the Flourishing Prases stamp set with Mint Macaron ink.  I used Island Indigo ink to stamp the sentiment from the Basket of Wishes stamp set.

Even though I have been making an occasional card, it has been a lonnnnnnng time since I posted anything.  Hopefully this has gotten the creative juices flowing again.  Have a good week.
