Swirly Birthday

It has certainly been a while since I posted.  Today's card is inspired by the sketch from Create Pretty Cards Challenge #74.

Card Base:  Berry Burst CS cut 4-1/4" x 11"; score at 5-1/2".  Whisper White CS cut 4" x 5-1/4".  Embossed with the Layered Leaves EF.  This folder gives such a beautiful deeply embossed image.  Attached to the base with Fast Fuse.

Sentiment:  Stamped the sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set on Crushed Curry CS with VersaMark and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  This is a 2-line sentiment but when I cropped it using one of Bunch of Banners Framelits, it cut the top line off perfectly.  Love the swirls on the sentiment.  I curled both ends in opposite directions using the Bone Folder and attached it with Dimensionals.

Image:  The swirly image was cut from Berry Burst from the Color Theory dsp using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.  Before cutting it out I added a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the paper to make it easy to attach to the card.  Again using the Old Olive from the Color Theory dsp, I cut out three leaves from the same thinlits.  The small flower is cut from Crushed Curry CS, also using the same thinlits.  I attached the leaves and the little flowers with Glue Dots.

The Finishing Touches:  Glitter Enamel Dots were added to the center of the flowers for a little sparkle.

I appreciate you stopping by.  Take a moment to leave a comment.  I enjoy hearing from you.  Have a great day.
