A Peaceful Snow

This is the first Christmas card I've created this year and went with the traditional red and green.  I'm hoping to jump start my holiday cards using these two challenges:  Merry Monday Challenge #259 - add a Christmas tree and Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #341 with the optional theme of bold words.

Card Base:  Whisper White Thick CS cut 4-1/4" x 11"; score at 5-1/2".  Added Be Merry DSP.

Image Layer:  Ran a piece of Whisper White CS through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.  Cut a Real Red CS scallop using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and attached on the left side of the embossed piece.  Added this layer to the card front.  Cut the trees from Silver Foil Paper using the Card Front Builder Thinlits.  They were added with Dimensionals.

Sentiment:  Another piece of the Be Merry DSP was matted
with Silver Foil Paper and added to the card.  Ran a piece of Real Red CS through the Big Shot with the Christmas Greetings Thinlits (retired) and attached it to the designer paper.

Finishing Touch:  I heat embossed a retired Snowflake Element using VersaMark and Silver Embossing Powder.  It was attached to the card with Glue Dots.

This is an easy card to mass produce, especially if you have a lot of cards to make.  I hope you are enjoying the long weekend as we celebrate Columbus Day here in the US as well as some lovely fall weather.

Great sketch to use for this card! I like your pattern paper and the added dimension of the falling snow! Thank you for sharing this at Merry Monday!
