Falling Leaves

You can tell fall is in the air; there are leaves everywhere.  My falling leaves card today is based on the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #244.

Card Base:  Lemon Lime Twist CS cut 4-1/4" x 11"; score at 5-1/2"  Very Vanilla Thick CS run through the Big Shot using the Woodland Embossing Folder and attached to the card front.

Leaves:  I added Crush Curry, Cajun Craze, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach inks to a clear block, spritzed them with water and placed on Watercolor Paper.  After letting it dry, I cut out the large leaf using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  Added some Clear Wink of Stella and attached it to the card.  The smaller leaves were cut from Copper Foil Paper using the same thinlits and added to the card.

Sentiment:  The sentiment from the Best Birds stamp set was heat embossed on Very Vanilla CS with Versamark and Copper Embossing Powder.  Cut sentiment out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and matted it with Lemon Lime Twist cut out using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  Sentiment attached to card with Dimensionals.

The Fininshing Touch:  Before adding the sentiment, I added some loops of Copper Metallic Thread on the back using Snail Adhesive.

The embossing folder gives a clean and simple card a little added punch.
Hope you enjoyed your visit today.  Please stop by again.
