A Big Thanks

Wishing you a very belated happy new year.  It sure has been a cold one here in the Northeast.  My card today is a simple thank you card.  I borrowed a sketch from Connie Stewart's blog here.  Each week she has a new sketch with four versions.  Great for getting your crafting juices flowing again.

Card Base:  Very Vanilla Thick CS cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; score at 4-1/4".  Added a layer of Eastern Palace Specialty DSP.

Sentiment Layer:  Cut a strip of Very Vanilla CS 1-1/2" x 5-1/2".  A strip of Gold Foil was added to the top and bottom; attached layer to card front on a diagonal.  The ends were trimmed even with the sides of the card.  I attached a piece of Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sheet to Tranquil Tide CS.  The sentiment from the retired Hello You Thinlits was cut out three times from the card stock.  Added some sparkle to each one using retired Gold Wink of Stella.  After peeling off the adhesive backing, I layered the three together for more dimension.  This was added to the diagonal strip.

Medallion:  The medallion was cut from Gold Foil (backed with adhesive sheet) using two of the dies from the Eastern Medallion Thinlits.  It was attached to a Very Vanilla CS circle cut with the Layering Circles Dies and added to the card front.

Finishing Touch:  To the center of the medallion I added a heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Thank you for stopping by.  It's been quite a while since I last posted.  I'm hoping to do so more often in 2018.  Be safe and stay warm.
