Card Base: Very Vanilla Thick CS cut 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2". I heat embossed the sentiment from the Vertical Greetings stamp set using Dapper Denim ink and Clear Embossing Powder. When using the ink pad to heat emboss, you have to move quickly with the embossing powder. If it doesn't emboss well, you can go over it again if you use a stamp positioning tool to start with.
Image Layer: I did use my MISTI to stamp the image from the Vertical Greetings stamp set. I covered the image, except the planter, with a post-it note and stamped the planter with Dapper Denim ink twice to get good coverage. I then masked off the planter and flower and stamped the stem with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Finally I masked off the bottom of the image and stamped the heart flower with Fresh Fig ink. On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla CS, I stamped the heart once more with Fresh Fig ink and cut it out with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits. The image layer was matted with Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig CS and attached to the card. The extra flower was popped up with Mini Dimensionals.
The Finishing Touch: Retired Brights Sequins were added to the card, one on the planter and two randomly placed.
I really enjoy working with this stamp set but don't always think to use it. It certainly makes for a clean-looking card. Hope your weekend has been a good one. Thanks for taking the time to check out my card today. Have a blessed week.
