Sweets for the Sweeties

Today I'm sharing the treats I made for my granddaughter and grandson.  Some of the inspiration comes from a new challenge - Festive Friday #0001: Valentine and/or sequins.

When the holiday catalog came out, I found these Acetate Card Boxes.  Haven't used them for cards but they popped into my head when I was trying to come up with treat holders.  I did one in Sweet Sugarplum  CS and one in Real Red CS.   The retired Confetti Hearts Punch was used on the top and bottom edge of the card stock.  They were each inserted
into an acetate box.  I had all the hearts that were punched out and wanted to use them in some way so
I made shaker hearts for the front of the box.  The sentiment from the Bloomin' Love stamp set was heat embossed on a piece of Window Sheet with Versamark and White Embossing Powder and cut out
with the Sweet and Sassy FramelitsWhisper White
CS was cut with the framelits.  I added Foam
Adhesive Strips, put the punched out hearts in the center, added the embossed vellum and then another frame cut with the dies to cover the edges of the vellum.  I used the Sweet Sugarplum and Real Red markers around the
around the edge to color the adhesive strips.  Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon was added to one and Whisper White 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon was added to the other.  I then popped up the shakers with Dimensionals.  These held quite a few Dove and Reeses hearts which I'm sure made my little sweeties very happy.

Thanks for visiting.  Enjoy your weekend.

So brave of you to heat emboss on window sheets! Your results were fantastic! I love the idea of using the acetate box and adding a shaker to the front. I'm jealous as Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are my favorite!! Yummo! Thanks for joining Festive Friday this week!
